In one of the most highly anticipated match ups of the NFL’s opening weekend, the San Francisco 49ers travel to take on our Green Bay Packers at home inside historic Lambeau Field. The game is set to broadcast as the Fox National Game at 3:15pm CST.

The 49ers became Superbowl contenders last year with a regular season record of 13-3, eventually losing during the NFC Championship game to the Superbowl Champion New York Giants. This defense-oriented team is sure to be a strong match against the Packers, despite the Packers being favored by 5 1/2 points. Our hometown Packers finished the regular season last year 15-1, also losing to the Giants in a playoff game. Aaron Rodgers and the offense are spoken of as the greatest in the NFL right now. With the first game of the season being played at home, Cheesehead spirit is sure to be running rampant throughout the state on Sunday.
