The real estate market is hitting its spring stride now that warm weather has arrived. More and more families are looking to buy and sell their homes than we’ve seen in many years. Statewide, Wisconsin has seen a 13.8% increase in house sales in April 2014 compared to March. Shorewest offices are represented in the southeast and south central regions of Wisconsin. In the southeast, home sales increased 14.3%, whereas in south central, home sales are up 20.2%.
Our Watertown Office saw a boom in sales. They set an office record of 47 sales in April, selling more than in any previous month since opening . “That’s a huge indicator of the real estate market’s growth,” says Mack McPherson, sales director at the Watertown Office. “Our agents are busy and excited to be helping people buy and sell homes.”
